green blueberry juice

Green Blueberry Juice 1

Another juice to start the week! I promise to post a food recipe this week but I really had such a great time on the juice fast (and had to make so many juices) that I have to share : ) This one was for my boyfriend, who just did his first two days of juicing… and liked it!

Ingredients (1 liter)

  • I small punnet blueberries
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 3 large apples
  • 4-5 leaves kale
  • 3-4 handfuls baby spinach
  • Small bunch parsley (use stems)

Instructions

  •  If you have a cold press juicer, juice the blueberries first so the other ingredients will push through the pulp. I also had to strain this one through a fine mesh strainer, but it was worth it!

  1. I always find a ton of smoothie recipes (including on my blog), but never enough juicing ones! Can’t wait to try it (and found some blueberries at the Farmer’s Market that will be perfect)!

    • I was having the same problem, especially with quantities for 1 liter that is great for juice fasting, so very happy you find my recipes helpful!

I’ll check out your smoothies recipes too-

  2. When I started my four month vegan experiment, I was juicing for the middle month. I honestly felt the best during that time. I think sometimes the Vegan lifestyle needs jucing to give it that powerpacked boost you can get from these concoctions.

Crazy raw vegan is a wellspring of knowledge. You always have a great recipe to inspire me and your dedication instill me with confidence. I haven’t visited in a while, but it is great to be back to the site.

    thanks,

    • I’m so happy to hear your vegan journey is going well curlyadventurer and that juicing works for you! Also selfishly love you’re visiting here again and finding things that you like… keep in touch – I always love new recipes / ideas : )
