Grape + Apple Juice

My boyfriend is on the juice fast wagon!! And I’m back on it too… that’s a longer story for another post though.  We started his day 1 this morning (my day 11) as he has five days before he travels for work again so is going to see how he finds it.

His breakfast juice this morning was a creation born out of unpreparedness (and I can say that as he doesn’t read these blog posts),… after I moved to water fasting on Sunday there were a lot of tidbits lying around so I turned them all into what I think was a tasty, fruity juice. Not sure what he thinks of it yet but he can’t complain too much, I had to make do with all the leftover vegetables!

Ingredients (1 liter)

  • 3 large handfuls red grapes
  • 3 red apples
  • 1/4 pineapple
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 3 leaves kale
  • 1 chunk of ginger

Instructions

  • Juice everything, alternating the grapes with more solids foods to avoid a build-up in cold-press juicers!

This juice actually had very little wastage so good if you’re looking to maximize juicage : )
