I’m having a little love affair with Matcha tea at the moment! It takes some getting used to but I definitely think it’s worth the effort (check out this article by Sleep Warrior for the down-low on the magic of Matcha). In an exchange on Facebook, Rabiah shared a smoothie recipe with me that I just had to try… and once I did, I just had to share as it’s so yummy.
I’m going to share the recipe as provided but also give a few modifications. Also, note that I had to make up the measurements so feel free to improvise (as always!)

Enjoy the green tea goodness!
Notes:
I don’t typically make a lot of smoothies with nut milks as I like them green and fruity but occasionally I do love me a creamy banana concoction and I find that the banana + nut milk combination doesn’t give me any digestion problems like some combinations of fruits and nuts do. That being said, I have made this with water and it works well too.
If honey is a no-go zone for you, try using 2-3 medjool dates for sweetness – you may want to soak them for a few hours if they are hard or you don’t have a high-speed blender.

This sounds delicious! I have green matcha powder in the freezer. I need to make this. :-)
Let me know how it goes! Would also love any other ideas you have for matcha : )
