I broke my cuke-juice virginity today! Very exciting :) I started with Joe’s mean green juice from Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and the Reboot Program but can’t wait to also try some of the suggestions my facebook friends provided, so stay tuned…

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 6 kale leaves
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 2 green apples
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 inch ginger

Super refreshing, and it provides almost half the recommended daily intake of iron!


Nutritional Info, per serve:

  • Calories = 438
  • Carbs (g) = 99
  • Fat (g) = 0
  • Protein (g) = 17
  • Sugar (g) = 33
  • Iron (%) = 47% RDI

  1. Love cukes in juice and even smoothies. They seem to be an efficient way to balance the greens without going to sweet on the apples. <3 mmm and green apples that sounds so very refreshing right now!

  2. Thanks so much for posting this. I’m on vacation without my cheat sheet of favorite juices, and the reboot website seems to be down. Always great to find fellow raw vegans. Happy New Year :)
