I have so many things I want to blog about this week… running, cycling… new shoes, squatty potties… but I’m swamped with school work and exercise so struggling for time. I’m actually multi-tasking right now and listening to a negotiation video case study for school as I type this but I want to share this recipe because I really enjoyed it this morning!

I soaked chia seeds overnight to have for breakfast one time and they just didn’t look appetizing to me so I never ate them. I know they’re good for you, however; so I’ll try them in a smoothie. I’m sure they’re better like that! Celeste:)
Hi Celeste! Thanks for your note.
Chia seeds are really easy to throw in smoothies and you hardly know they are there. I can understand soaked chia seeds not being appetizing! I do love to soak them in coconut water for pudding though – perhaps you could try that? Recipe on the blog, just search for chia :)
I appreciate your thoughtful reply, but I think I’ll stick to putting them in smoothies. I just don’t think I can do the soaked ones even in a pudding – they really turned me off. Oh well!! Love your blog, by the way! Celeste:)
No worries Celeste – we’re all into different things. Good luck with the smoothies!

Here is an amazing new book which just came out, and which contains a bunch of raw vegan recipes that I think you and your readers would enjoy. A couple of my friends wrote it and it was recently accepted into Whole Foods so you may see it there soon as well –

Thanks for the recommendation Ryan! I’ll check it out :)
Awesome!
