I have been meaning to post this recipe since MAY! Oh dear, I did drop the ball on this one, but a big thank you to my FB friend Linda who requested the recipe yesterday after seeing the pic… thank goodness someone is keeping me honest. These are great to have on hand in a pinch… or even just to satisfy sweet tooth cravings.
And may be I’m dreaming, but I actually think they have an aftertaste reminiscent of white chocolate:)
Ingredients
Instructions
Place coconut oil in dehydrator at 105° to melt while preparing other ingredients. In a food processor, blend 1 cup almonds in to a fine flour, place in a bowl. Blend the rest of the almonds and cashews into a flour with some chunky bits, add to bowl with coconut. Stir and make a well in the middle.
Pour agave and coconut oil into the well and add vanilla essence and sea salt. Stir until all sticky and mold into ball. Place on mesh dehydrator tray and dehydrate at at 105° for 12 hours.
If you can actually wait for them to dehydrate they’re great warm… problem is that the mixture is great before it even goes it… yum!
